El Secretario General To Lam habla por teléfono con el Secretario General y Presidente de China, Xi Jinping

On behalf of the Party, State and People of China, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping warmly congratulated the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on its successful conclusion; congratulated Comrade Su Lin on being elected as General Secretary of the new Central Committee of the Party.

Happy to share the particularly important results of the 14th Congress, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the Congress has fulfilled its great historical responsibility, deeply summarized the reality of the Vietnamese revolution after 40 years of Doi Moi, set out major goals and directions, not only for the next 5-year term, but also identified strategic orientations for the future and destiny of the Vietnamese nation in the new era of development.

General Secretary To Lam affirmed that Vietnam always highly values and prioritizes the development of relations with China. The General Secretary requested the two sides to jointly bring political trust to a new height to comprehensively lead all areas of cooperation, continue to strengthen regular and flexible high-level exchanges; promote the pillar role of key areas: diplomacy, defense, police; promote breakthroughs and clear changes in substantive cooperation areas.

General Secretary To Lam requested General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to pay attention to directing the expansion of imports of goods, especially agricultural and aquatic products of Vietnam; the two sides give the highest priority to railway cooperation, strengthen high-quality investment cooperation associated with technology transfer and human resource training; promote scientific and technological cooperation to become a new bright spot.

Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tập Cận Bình khẳng định, Trung Quốc sẵn sàng cùng Đảng và Nhà nước Việt Nam làm sâu sắc quan hệ Đối tác hợp tác chiến lược toàn diện, xây dựng Cộng đồng chia sẻ tương lai Trung Quốc - Việt Nam có ý nghĩa chiến lược lên tầm cao mới theo định hướng “6 hơn”.

Tán thành với những đánh giá về tình hình quốc tế khu vực và những biện pháp thúc đẩy quan hệ hai Đảng, hai nước mà Tổng Bí thư Tô Lâm đã nêu, đồng chí Tập Cận Bình khẳng định Trung Quốc sẵn sàng cùng Việt Nam tăng cường trao đổi cấp cao, giao lưu, học hỏi kinh nghiệm trong công tác quản lý Đảng và quản trị đất nước; tổ chức tốt cơ chế Ủy ban chỉ đạo hợp tác song phương và hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực ngoại giao, quốc phòng, công an; khẳng định Trung Quốc sẵn sàng nhập khẩu các mặt hàng nông sản chất lượng cao của Việt Nam và tiếp tục khuyến khích doanh nghiệp Trung Quốc đầu tư, làm ăn tại Việt Nam.

Based on the positive progress in railway cooperation between the two countries, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping affirmed that China is ready to strengthen exchanges in the mechanism of the China-Vietnam Railway Cooperation Joint Committee, bringing railway cooperation between the two countries to substantive progress.

To strengthen the social foundation, the root of Vietnam-China friendship, Comrade Xi Jinping wished the two sides to do well in youth exchange activities, local cooperation and press information; affirmed that China is ready to support Vietnam in building the Vietnamese Communist Party Museum.

The two sides agreed to maintain exchanges and close coordination at multilateral forums; better control and manage disagreements.
