The Ward Trade Union coordinates with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and socio-political organizations to organize visits and Tet gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents, serious illnesses, lost jobs or encountered unexpected difficulties. At the same time, implement the "Meaningful Ticket" program, supporting bus tickets, train tickets or cash for workers who have not had the conditions to return home for Tet for many years.

In addition, the Ward Trade Union strengthens grasping the situation of life and employment; supervises the implementation of salary, Tet bonus, and social insurance regimes at enterprises; promptly coordinates to solve arising problems, contributing to maintaining harmonious and stable labor relations before, during and after the Lunar New Year. For workers who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns, the Binh Co Ward Trade Union will coordinate to organize cultural and artistic activities, folk games, and decorate Tet spaces in residential areas and boarding houses, creating a joyful, warm, safe, and meaningful Spring atmosphere.

Job introduction for workers

Bau Bang commune is also a locality with a large concentration of workers in the North of Ho Chi Minh City. Bau Bang Commune Trade Union has proactively coordinated with units to organize the "Tet Sum vay" program, attracting 5,000 workers to participate. Mr. Luu The Thuan - Chairman of Bau Bang Commune Trade Union - said that there are currently about 25,000 workers in the area. The total resources for Tet care from trade union budgets at all levels are expected to be over 12 billion VND. In which, about 3,000 Tet gifts were given, each gift worth 1 million VND, 150 gifts through online shopping (each gift worth 500,000 VND). Nearly 100 train tickets, bus tickets, and air tickets were awarded to support workers to return to their hometowns for Tet.

In addition to taking care of union members facing difficulties, Bau Bang Commune Trade Union also grasps the situation of recruiting unemployed workers and the recruitment needs of businesses in the area. Mr. Luu The Thuan said that currently the total recruitment demand of businesses in the area is about 3,000 workers. Bau Bang Commune Trade Union has collected information from businesses and shared it widely for workers to understand. The unit also organizes job introduction sessions to connect jobs for workers.

At the Tet Sum vay program, Bau Bang Commune Trade Union invited more than 10 businesses to participate in recruitment consulting booths. The results have introduced jobs for hundreds of workers. In Thoi Hoa ward, the Trade Union is currently coordinating to grasp the operating situation of businesses in the area during the Lunar New Year. Thoi Hoa Ward Trade Union also coordinates with the local authorities and grassroots trade unions to organize job introductions for workers who lost their jobs before Tet. A job introduction program for 2,700 workers who lost their jobs was successfully organized at My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park. It is expected that after Tet, the Ward Trade Union will continue to coordinate with units to organize job introductions for workers.
